Wild Medicine

Chimpanzees get rid of parasites by using the leaves of sunflowers and rolling it around in their month then swallowing it. They don't like the taste of it because they make faces when they eat it but they apparently know the medicinal effects of the leaves.

African Elephants risk their lives to get into caves in Mount Elgon (volcano) to chew the rocks, which contain many minerals. The sodium is essential for their health.

Capuchin Monkeys in Costa Rica uses a type of chilli to clean themselves, which removes all sort of insects and acts as a painkiller to insect bites

The tallest dog. Harlequin is a Great Dane who is 42.2 inches and 7 feet tall on his hind legs
